Promoting your pixel site

Here you can find some tips and tricks to promote your pixel site.

Before you start promoting your pixel site everything should be set up and working. Test everything in different browsers and with different operating systems. Check especially if ad submission works correct in all categories! I often find sites where this part is not working correct.

First step is - of course - to add your pixel site to this directory. ;-)
Visit every pixel site you know to see if there is a space for free advertising. Create a pixel ad for your site and submit it there. You can browse through the Pixel Ad List to find some good sites that offer free advertising space.
Create a signature in your email programme with a link to your site and a description. With every mail you send you give people the chance to find your site.
Add a link exchange page to your pixel site and contact webmasters of related sites to exchange links. Keep this page simple and don't hide it anywhere. Nobody will exchange links if your link page can't be found easily.
Join a pixel ad forum, write some useful posts and use the URL of your pixel page as forum signature.
If you have already earned some money you can also buy ads on high traffic sites.
Create a bannner ad for your site that is 468 pixels wide and 60 pixels in height and one with 250 x 72 pixels. You will need it for the next two tips and other campaigns.
Join a banner exchange network like this one: bannersgomlm.com. Add the code you are receiving to your page and for every banner from the network that is shown on your page your banner shows on other sites. Give it a try! It really works great for this site.
Join some top lists like Pixel Ad Ranking and submit your banner. Don't forget to add the code you are receiving to your page. Otherwise your visits are not counted and you never make it to the top of the list.
