Interview from 2007-01-21 with Pittsburgh Pixels from PITTSBURGH PIXELS
Your name:
Pittsburgh Pixels
Where do you come from?
Ellwood City, Pennsylvania
Your birthday:
December, 7th
Name of your pixel site:
PITTSBURGH PIXELS - http://www.pittsburghpixels.com
When did you start your site?
January, 2006
What was your intention to build a pixel site?
I enjoyed surfing different pixels sites and started my own for a hobby. Instead of bar hopping I now stay home a lot tweaking my site. The real satisfaction I get is when I check my came from statistics and see the dozens of search phrases I come up on Google's #1 page
What is the target market of your site?
I decided to build a regional site because I knew selling blocks on the internet alone would be a difficult task. I personally call on all of my clients and sell them on the terrific search engine optimization they can get by being linked to a high ranking site. After making the sale I then adjust the key words to compliment the site.
What is your opinion about the future of the pixel advertising industry?
The pixel RAVE is just about over. There still is a huge audience of pixel site fans and it can make a comeback as long as the survivors keep up the hard work
What are you doing when you are not sitting in front of your computer?
I own 2 eBay drop-off stores so I'm usually always on the computer. I play in a bocce league with the little spare time that I have.
What do you want to tell other pixel site webmasters?
Keep up the hard work. Find as many links that you can. You have to spend money to make money. Get all the free links that you can and purchase a few good quality links. I bought a block on Pixelotto and I may not sale any space but I'm getting a lot of hits to keep my rank up.
Something else you want to say?
Thank you for making such a kool site. Take a Peek http://www.pittsburghpixels.com
